hey for those of u who where interested in this case, i have an update for you. My friends mom sent the application to the Canadian embassy in turkey. the supporting documents included the following; invitation letter, employment letter from employer, university transcript, bank balance of mother, proof of property, all documents that could possibly tie the applicant back to her home country. The application was sent on Monday and the visa was declined mailed back and received by Thursday, lol. obviously my friend and her mother where heart broken, the reason for being declined was that there wasn't sufficient proof that the applicant would return to her home country. It was obvious that they didn't even read the supporting documents, because they where in the same order and condition as they had been sent. Despite their disappointment they applied two weeks later, but this time supporting documents from friends, family, and a lawyer. Yesterday my friends mom called her and told her she got the visa, :). We just wanted to thank everyone who offered help to us. I hope this case offers hope to other applicants and just goes to show persistence pays off.

Thanks for updating us. And hoping a happy reunion for your friend and her mom.

Congrats! :)

Could talk about the second time she applied? What are supporting documents from friends, family and lawyer?
