I have applied for a work permit online on 3 Dec 2013 and still no news from CIC.The CIC website showing that they are working on applications submitted on December 22, 2013.

Any suggestion?

Did you apply from within Canada? if no, please refer to the timelines for the country from where you have applied.

Online applications are handled by VISA offices that are relatively low on load, hence, it could be between 3 - 4 months of average processing time, if you are lucky, you might get it even earlier.

buddy... call center do not have information on your specific case and neither do they have access to your case as well. Call center can only provide you generic information.
