A few questions...

Short background: I am Canadian, my husband is Australian, our daughter is a dual citizen with papers.

I am currently looking at form IMM 5481 and am a bit confused about question 5. They all seem to ask about previous undertakings but one is a previous undertaking that are not yet in effect. Is that the correct one for me to fill out? Should I include my daughter in this as well or just my husband?

Also, on form IMM5491 where it asks about dependents, do I include my daughter in there even though she is a citizen or is that just for dependents being sponsored?

In 5, you should include any person that you actually sent an application to sponsor (not including your husband as you are doing it now). From what you wrote, I am guessing you did not sponsor your doughtier but she become a Canadian citizen by birth. Therefore you should write NIL in the entire section.

IMM5491 is the check list. I am not sure where it asks for dependents.

Bugger, I was looking at the wrong form number. 0008 is the one I mean.

OK, on this one you need to include family members who are not permanent residents or citizens of Canada regardless if you are sponsoring them or not. So if you have another child with your husband who is not a Canadian citizen or your husband has a child from previous relationship, you will need to include it.

In your case it sounds like you don't have to include anyone in this section.
