A few questions regarding spouse sponsership

I am new to this form and I have a few questions regarding my outland application.

1. Me and my husband don't have a wedding, we only have a civil ceremony with 2 witnesses, both of our parents will not present becasue my parents are afraid of flying, and he is not close to parents, so is it ok that we don't have parents in our civil ceremony?

2. how long does it take it get marriage certificate after get married in BC?

It's okay that your parents were not there. Just include a letter to explain why. People have different situations and they understand that. But include pics if you have them.

Not sure how long it takes, but I imagine no later than 2 weeks?
