Hi guys, I'm about to finish filling in my profile but I have a few questions before I do (some of these questions might be obvious but its better to be safe than sorry!)
1) I know we have to have worked a minimum of 1560 hours to qualify, is that including vacation days or do I have to subtract those hours?
2) If I'm applying through CEC, I'm under the impression that I don't need proof of funds. But do you know if there is a minimum amount of funds that they usually look for because they still ask how much money I'll have when I activate my PR.
3) My job is not LMIA exempt, but I'm expecting a promotion to a type 0 skilled job, surely that counts for something? Should I just include my written job offer for the sake of it?
4) I work for a company who don't include a job description in their Letter of Emplyment/ Verification of employment, it's just not apart of the template that they use for all employees so they can't make me an exception. They just tell me to find the job description on the website and send that. Would that actually be valid proof if I printed it and got my manager to sign it, and then send it along with the Letter of Employment from HR?
5) I was assistant manager at a cafe before I came to Canada. It was an independent business and rtherefore a little less formal and organised than a big company. What proof of employment should I tell me ex-manager to dig up? Will she have to find some pay slips or anything like that?
Thanks!
