A draw for FSW while CEC did do have a draw!

That would make sense for all previous draws, but this is the first time they’ve ever done an fsw only draw in the history of express entry.
My profile does indicate I meet the eligibility for both fsw and cec, separately.
So it doesn't matter if you are inside or outside of Canada anymore. As long as you continue working full time for a year.

Did it ever matter? CEC doesn’t require people to stay inland as far as I know, and neither does FSW. It just affects processing times I think.
There are differences between the two in terms of what you need to submit as part of your application. For example, FSW generally required POF. CEC does not.

Sure.

If that helps you better sleep at night.

Your companies will replace you in a heartbeat. Y'all need to stop acting like you lead multi-billion dollar projects. Just a cog in a corporate machine. Companies won't lose their sleep if CEC candidate has to leave. Sure, it will be a little inconvenient for them to hire and train someone but they will lose couple of month top; even that is questionable.

If there are jobs available, then outlanders will get a job much faster. In the end of the day, most outlanders fight for the same job that CEC are doing right now.

Economy is in crap hole already. I am way too tired to explain it but no, CEC are not Avengers; you won't save Canada from the major recession.

Again, it's too long to explain and I am a very tired for that but no, CEC won't happen. No program specified, yes. CEC only, highly doubt.
Bro, I am illegible to both so it will not matter to me which draw they will make? I want any kind of draw? Do you think there will be any kind of draws? most of us are qualified for both CEC and FSW

Yeah I mean work in Canada for at least a year, but of course you can apply outside of Canada.

That's a good thing now they made candidates eligible for both programs. Lots of people now have two options.
If they want to make FSW and CEC become one, they should give more points for candidates with local degree + work exp. I remember when they stopped doing draws for CEC (that's before Covid too probably around 2018).

But points were still around 450ish so its really doable if you have 2 yoe under 3 years PGWP. Right now CEC only gives you the right to apply EE without proof of funds which is meaningless for most people.

If anyone is eligible for both (CEC & FSW) programs and doing job as a PGWP holder from more than 1 year but got invitation under FSW (as per recent invitation round), Would he/she needs proof of funds? As its the requirement of FSW if we don't have LMIA... reply me please

Yes.

You don’t need to show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family if

  • you’re applying under the Canadian Experience Class or
  • you’re authorized to work in Canada and you have a valid job offer, even if you apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Program or the Federal Skilled Trades Program
