Facts
I am a Canadian Citizen, sponsoring my husband from Guatemala. We have just sent in our OUTLAND application last week. Both living here in Guate. My husband has a TRV valid until May 2018.
Question 1
I know that with an inland application, being refused re-entry to Canada after leaving can result in your application being dropped. If my husband and I decide to visit family in Canada for the holidays, and he for some reason gets refused entry, does that affect our OUTLAND application at all? He has been to Canada twice now on his TRV and never had an issue but you never know.
Question 2
In the forms we sent in, it asks where we intend to live when we relocate to Canada. We put Ottawa, as that is where my family is from. I am assuming we can change our plans right? If we decide to relocate elsewhere in Canada, does that change anything?
Question 3
Is Central America a "high risk" country when it comes to immigration, specifically under the Spousal Sponsorship? I'm asking because reading through the forum it seems like some countries in Asia are deemed high risk for marriage fraud and those applications are looked at extra carefully. We just want to have an idea if we can expect to be called in for an interview. In my opinion, there are no red flags in our case that I can see.
Gracias!!
