Greetings from Europe folks.
The past few month's i beat my head on the wall and still can't receive answers to my questions.Trying in the embassy, trying trought e mails, and here im.Last hope i should say :)
The situation is next one,im kinda of "high end " professional and there a few good companies based in Canada which want to acquire my services as employee. So i have job opportunity, and there is first question : If my future (eventualy) employer send me a contract, how long s will take to get a temporary (as beginning ) work permit? If my future employer want me on side for a interview, considerations etc, should i enter in Canada as regular tourist or should wait 6 months for work permission?
Ohh and that's is not all.Im European Citizen, originally from country which require visa to enter in Canada,so far so good but...i "bunny hoping " between countries because of nature of my job,and spending just 1 month in year at my motherland,so by default the definition of " strong proves,to return in your home country " seems a bit irrelevant to me if i intend to visit Canada as tourist in order just to be physical on interview.Answers to all those questions of mine from the embassy of Canada was a ... just a link from the website.Dear embassy employees For God sake i can read,if the answers was there why i should send e mails to you at first place?!? With a bit disappointment and lot of hope im writing here.
If someone just can "point me the right " direction i would be lovely.
Cheers !!!

hi,
if your employer wants to hire you, he has to apply for LMO for you, then he will send to you a contract and LMO to apply for a work permit visa from your country through a canadian embassy.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/apply-who.asp

if your employer want you here for any purposes (interview,..), you have to apply for a visitor visa, then you can extend your stay to be worker (apply for a work permit).

Allowing you into Canada isn't the difficult part. The difficult part is that in order to obtain an approved LMO (required to hire you), the employer must prove they advertised the job and were unable to find a Canadian to hire or train for the role. It can be quite difficult for an employer to prove this depending on the type of role they are hiring for.

no body can prevent you to enter canada, if you follow the procedure legally and have paper to prove this, take it easy.
good luck

We'll im not afraid of this scenario,my profession it's rare and for certain is difficult to do it.So i think this would be the easy part :)
