Dear All ,

Along with Medical Examination Request, the Right of Permanent Residence Fee has also been requested by Canadian High Commission London.

This line says: 5. Right of Permanent Residence Fee - A bank draft for CAD 980 payable to The Receiver General for Canada

When I went to a Bank in uk, the branch member created a Bank draft Payable to The Receiver General for Canada, he asked me the beneficiary address.

I was not sure about the Address of the Beneficiary at that time, I gave him the address of High Commission of Canada, London UK.

What is your opinion? is that address correct or It might have been a Canadian Address?

Is the address of beneficiary mandatory for the draft? or it is only useful at the UK branch Information.

Please comment...

I have not sent the draft yet, do I need to change the address? while the bank draft only shows the name of beneficiary usually.

its ok.........they will deposit the draft against the A/C...go ahead

Thanks haral.

After they will receive the medical results and fees for Right of Permanent Residence.

Any idea , within how many days they can ask for Passports? and within how many days I need to provide them the passports? I mean how many days interval? because I am asking this question due to unavailability of my passport due to visa application for the other country.

these days the PPR1 is coming within 20 days if you are in pakistan where you have submit copiues of paspsorts + family information chart which is followed by request to submit passports to islamabd VO with in about 30 days. if you are outside pakistan and they know it than the final request would be the step to submit passports to London VO directly.

Is it possible to submit the passports in person in London office in person?
If yes then how long they can take to stamp? do they have urgent processing option?

There isn't an urgent processing option. On the information provided to me in the letter, they accept passports in person on Wednesdays and they can be collected on the second Wednesday after dropping them. If Wed is a holiday, it will move to the next Wednesday. I'm based in the UAE and have just recd my passports after approx 3 weeks.
