Are you for real?

no i'm not my friend... just super frustrated of the waiting... made my profile 4 weeks ago, right after the previous draw.. and that delay was caused due to ECA reports which took forever.... and now CIC is taking its own sweet time...

Same here. i made profile 4 weeks ago too right after the previous draw. sitting and waiting for next draw is so frustrating. CIC is taking its own sweet time :o :o

SAD :-\ but you guys don't have to beat yourselves up! Just be cool and have hope. Be optimistic! All good things come to people who wait! :P

I think EE has spoiled us. Under the previous system you would go years or months and not hear a thing. People waiting for LMIAs have had to wait three or more months to hear if their applications have been approved. Then they have to go through the wait for the work permit application. I understand the frustration but we seem to be losing a bit of perspective. Find other things to do while you wait if only to hold on to your sanity. Good luck

Sit tight fellas. We are in sort of a limbo situation. CIC had clearly mentioned in their very early correspondences (too lazy to find the link) that the number of draws will vary and will depend on market conditions, for example employment/unemployment rates of each month and other similar factors. I am no expert but here is my theory - if Statistics Canada releases a report which suggests that unemployment rate remained relatively high in particular month, I think CIC may not even bother to do a draw (to not to piss off the general public).

Government is doing more informed decisions, after all it's an election year and THE WINTER IS COMING!!!! :P :P :P :P

I guess CIC is clearing backlogs

there's several different takes at this... some say it's to clear backlog.... some say it's the long weekend so no draw.. some say they are trying to drive the CRS scores in the pool up... while some say it' because the year is only supposed to have 15-25 draws.... could be anything...

well the previous longer wait was between the feb27 AND mar20th draw and scores went under 500 first time in that draw..
so i am hoping they decrease the CRS score all the way to 400 ;D ;D

I saw a dream a few nights back - the score went down to 275 (for real, no kidding). Let's see if my dream comes true. ;D ;D ;D

Exactly same thought crossed my mind yesterday!!...This wait may turn out to be fruitful!!!!..though last time we had greater probability and this time we have it less!!! God plz do something!!!

Draws have happened on Saturdays before, could be tomorrow.

ya sure after 5 seasons winter is finally upon us...still not there yet..
same with cic after a year ppl will be waiting to go score down 420 and cic will say winter is coming :P :P

CIC must have the basic courtesy to inform the date of the next draw in advance. I mean, so many people are waiting anxiously and all CIC does is surprise them in a negative way. Terrible. :-\ .
