it takes them a few days to post on the cic website with the total number of invites issues and all. the last draw it took them 5 days

I guess they are trying to handle the backlog of applications so far and allow for the time given to recent ITA recipients to expire before issuing new ITAs. I noticed that at tge moment, they are only issuing PPRs to those who received ITAs in the first 4 draws. They haven't issued a PPR to anybody who received ITA on March 20 and after. So that's my guess about the reason for the 9th draw delay. Many people are accepting their ITAs and do they don't want to overburden themselves with new ITAs. Or alternatively, maybe they feel there aren't enough people with the kind of scores they want and so are just waiting for more people to enter the pool.

You're absolutely right , however we get the information from the Ministerial Instructions , http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/mi/index.asp , which is supposed to update on the same day of draw.

No draw last weekend, which means by next weekend May 16-17, they haven't made a draw for fours weeks. Are they waiting for people with high scores to enter the pool...? Which means, not enough high scores applicants, no draw, this is jst a bit depressing to think of for ppl who have lower than 450.

How come I saw a post about the 9th draw at late Friday night saying it dropped to 428??? And I can't find it now....Was it my illusion??? Anyone else saw it??

Whatever you read, it's wrong information. Draw #9 has not happened yet

I think there is shortage of candidates in pool with 450+ score, CIC is waiting for more candidates with 450+ score.
