CIC state it is calculated in months, as does their wizard, and like I said above, each case is unique and other factors may be taken into consideration.
The latter is also found on their website.
I've got the link that states its calculated based on weeks. But, I'll wait for you to provide the link that states its calculated in months.

If you have read the thread you will see another poster pasted the link, to which I was merely paraphrasing.

The EE rules are the exact same rules they have been using for years to calculate CEC experience. They rules aren't new and we've seen tons of examples here of who CIC accepts and refuses. You need 52 weeks of work (it's not calculated in months). Each week must consist of a minimum of 30 hours to be counted as full time. Part time weeks can be combined to make full time weeks. However extra hours from full time weeks cannot be carried over into other week. It's pretty straight-forward.

I am entirely neutral in terms of the argument. My only contribution is a question. Does CIC ask if your work is full time or part time?

Yes. Defined in terms of number of work hours/week. 30 and above is Full Time. Below 30 is Part Time.

I am not talking about that link as you already disputed the contents of that link stating "No where here does CIC calculate work experience in weeks".

As you can already see from the answers most forum members believe that work experience is counted in weeks unless you provide a link that states work experience is counted in months.

So here's another link which states work experience is counted in weeks

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/definitions.asp?letterNum=6

"Calculating work experience for FSW

Work experience can be calculated by:

adding up the number of continuous weeks of full-time (or equivalent in part-time) paid work......."
