90 days vs 60 days after ITA

Hi

I received an ITA on November 16th 2016 and the letter back then said that I need to submit my application no later than January 16th. Now on my account shows 26 days left to apply.

I am little confused, if the new 90 days applies for me then it would be more than 26 days. If it doesn't then the 60 days would be the 16th but it's not 26 days away, only 11 days.

Anyone has similar situation or can shed light on this?

Anyone who got ITA before 19 November 2016 were given 15 days extra by CIC because some candidates were facing few problems while submitting e-Apr and doing payment.
