Hi there,

So after completing my EE profile, I received a letter in my inbox about being selected to apply for the Ontario program. Around the 3rd week of March, I sent through all my documents (which was received within the 45 day time frame since the nomination was received).

It's now early July, and I still haven't heard anything back from Ontario (although they tell you that you should hear some kind of response within 90 days).

Should I make any assumptions? Or just remain patient?

Thanks for any advice!

Stay patient :) I read that they are dealing with a large volume of backlog so the processing has drastically slowed down.

Patience is the key, i submitted my application end of December and only heard from them mid June. So it is taking much longer than 90 days.

OK thank you. Guessing now with the Syrian refugee crisis that things will be slow.

Under which stream were you selected by OINP? I guess it is the French-Speaking Skilled Workers Stream. I understand the Human Capital Priority stream was put on hold some time mid February.
Maybe they are first dealing with the stream that has got a backlog first. by that I mean the Human Capital Priority stream. Just a thought.

Hi, no it was the Human Capital Priority. It was placed on hold February 16th, but apparently those that received an ITS before that would make the cut.

I received the ITA in my CIC inbox at the beginning of February.

Thank you Samer, and congratulations!

So after the AoR, you have submitted all the original documents for the PR approval, yes?

Not yet, they haven't requested documents at this stage. I'm expecting that will take place once I receive an ITA (hopefully!)
