9 month wait time. Timeline question

Hello

I applied for a student visa back in March of 2022 and am waiting for a passport request currently. My intake is January 2023
Is there any way I could get a passport request within the next week or so? Otherwise I will completely miss my classes
and will not be allowed to study
Timeline:
Applied march 22
Biometrics requested march 23
Biometrics completed April 15
Medical requested December 8
Medical approved December 22

No one can tell you that except the VO processing your application. Have you raised any webform?

I have multiple times without much success. I’m just told to wait basically

It took me nearly 9 months of webforms to even get my medical exam request

You can wait for the next 1 week but remember you also have to wait for passport stamping. so depends on your deadline to report to school. Otherwise you can deffered to the next available intake

Unfortunately I have already deferred and the school won’t budge any longer. The passport stamping is pretty quick here
