Not a lot of options unfortunately.Hi thanks for your reply!
PGWP expires in 6 months,
score is 491
not high wage,
I can't speak french.
Look at PNPs and max English. Then if not enough, learn French. Thanks for your reply.
I'm working on improving my English score (2nd language of mine =)
If I am convince the company to give me raise, would a high wage category help me for EE (sorry I'm not familiar with high wage category) because from google it seems like company will need to write LMIA, which they don't want to do
There's a LMIA that specifically supports PR with a more simplified procedure. It could be an option for your employer. But you need to be a high wage category. Thanks for your reply.

Exactly. No, they don't need to prove employment efforts, that's an advantage.Thank you, I will look into this. Would high wage LMIA be similar to a normal LMIA that needs the employer to prove that no other canadian/ PR can fill the role?
One issue they dont want to submit an LMIA is because proving my role cannot be filled by another canadian applicant is complicated, and it should've been done from the start of my role.
However, because I've worked in the company for long time, I add significant value, so they are willing to help other ways.
Try BC PNP Tech pilot OR BC Grad scheme if you are eligible.I have a PGWP after obtaining Canadian degree in BC, and am working for a company, as a software developer (STEM) for ~ 2 years. I've applied for EE but based on recent immigration changes, doesn't look like I'll be getting an invite soon.
My job offer did not have an LMIA. My PGWP is expiring soon. The company is willing to help me out but cannot provide me an LMIA as the process is complicated. Is there anything that can be done if the company is willing to support my application, as I'm an important part of the company? What options do I have (LMIA exemption, closed work permits, etc).
Which stream have you applied in? Whats your degree in BC? Which year did you do your degree? Thanks for the information!
I've applied to pnp as well, however the scores right now are really high, i'm at 98, so haven't received a nomination either.
They don’t but it doesn’t allow you to extend work permit. It gives you points for PR application.Thank you, I will look into this. Would high wage LMIA be similar to a normal LMIA that needs the employer to prove that no other canadian/ PR can fill the role?

Just know that this just gives you points. It may take 7-9 months for LMIA approval. So that doesn’t allow you to work past PGWP expiry. So let employer know that too.Thank you for your reply! If I bring it up w/ them and tell them high wage LMIA does not need employement efforts, then maybe they will willing to help me out.
