Dear folks

8 months finished without receiving medical forms and the ecas still showing "in-process". according to the AOR letter from London office "If you do not receive any correspondence from us within 8 months then contact us directly".

The last correspondence from them 3 months later was: Routine background check is ongoing.

What do you suggest, do I need to contact them now or keep waiting.

your opinion is much appreciated.

You need to contact them and find out the status of your application.
Good luck
Benny

i think you should contact them asap as you have a strong reason for completing 8months.

Which visa office?

You said its been 8 months from....sending full docs? or 8 months from the date mentioned in the e cas that states..we started processing your application on xx-xx-xxxx. If it is the later, then you should write them and tell them that you are just following their instruction to contact them if 8 months have passed and you have not heard anythingn from them. Please reply. Can you please post your timeline too? Thanks.

Dear Folks

Thanks for your kindly reply.

My timeline as follows:

Full Document sent to London on the 11th May 2008
Full Document received on the 12th May 2008

Unfortunately, the AOR letter does not contain any date but the envelop contain the date of the post office which is 21th May so I would expect the letter has been printed 2-5 days before. Thus I will to the next week and I will contact them, but the question how is the better way to contact them is by writing a letter or filling the on-line form?. and if you suggest writing a normal letter to which address I need to forward it?

Thanks

my fren, don't ever send a normal email..you have to send a case specific enquiry to your visa office....this is not a big form but only they ask for email address, matter and attachements if any.
