8-12 months processing time or 3-4 years help

Guys I'm new to this forum I applied my case through consultant my case was geniun and I scorEd 7 bands in IELTS AND OVERALL my immigration score was 69 points .. as im a working person and have lotsbof burden on my shoulder i hire an consaltant who did my case filing and other stuff .. I gave all the things she asked for my case pictures, documents, and demand drafts , she said now ehn you are applying in 2012 april you will get your medical in the next 10-12 months and after when u recive medical it will take 3-4 months to get visa and u need to give ur orignals to the visa office london means the whole process and the case everything with PR visa it take 12-14 months and maximum 18 months in whole process

my question us that as I'm seeing ppl filed their case in 2006 2007 2004 and they are still waiting I dont understand why such long waiting???? If you have to wait 3/4 years after u applied then why my consultant is saying I get visa within 12-18 months???

Please help becoz such posts when I see makes me scared and I felt maybe I get crooked with my counsaktant and she is doing fraud or maybe she is true and it really takes that less time and if so then why others are waiting for so long

Your consultant is right...
You are in fast track mate generally the normal time frame for fast track is 6-12 months...
You are called MI3...
After the file is received by your VO you will get out of process within 10 months...

Previously you can apply to Canada if you fall under any NOC, with your experience, qualification, IELTS, and age
So in that time huge number of application were received qualifying 67 points...which created backlog and cic cannot process it quick..
So to process it in within time frame they come with the fast track plan where a demanded occupation is listed...
and also per occupation and global cap was imposed...to process the demand FSW and backlog..so thats the reason for fast track by CIC...
The pause button was pressed to clear the backlog, MI in due time...I hope its Dec,2012 where all applicant will receive DM in their status...
After that MI4 will come into effect...In early Jan 2013

Hi. I sent our passports for ppr last feb 2012 but until now i haven't received them. The 90 days has been lapsed and it has been more than a year since i have sent my application. Do u have any idea about my case? Thanks

I saw your post, how's your application now? May reply nb ang CEM? I'm afraid your case is like mine pro I'm still waiting for 90days before I msg them. 2 months plus na rin ung passport ko sa CEM but till now wla pa. MI3 rin ako the RN. Did they tell you any issues why they took so long to return the passport back? thanks!!
