Good morning folks~

This morning about 5 minutes ago I received a telephone call from a lady claiming to be at the Quality Assurance Department of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi, who knew my name and that I was applying for PR.

She asked me what I was doing in Canada at the moment and I said waiting. She didn't ask me anything else, and put down the phone. Does this sound normal to you especially given it was 7:15am? Its just about 6months since I submitted my EE-PR application. It's an FSW application.

thanks

Probably a scam:

If she calls again, tell her you are recording the conversation and have her phone number - and are going to report her to the police.

Just to add - you have valid status in Canada - yes?

In other words, you are waiting in Canada under a valid work permit, study permit or visitor visa?

Thank you Scylla. I have a telephone number from her too, and when I call it back it goes to Voicemail, saying this Brad person is either snowboarding, skydiving or doing something else that is awesome... Eh... She sounded like she was from India...
