Got PR on April 15, 2022 - spent 26 days in Canada since then. So I have 704 days left which I plan to stay continuous after coming back. If I am able to show this to the border officers, it is ok, right?

How can i prepare for this when I go back? Should I show flight details or something for all the days I was there in the country?

Are you already in Canada? How can you meet RO if you are cutting it this close and you are still outside?

The proper test to understand is if you have been out of Canada LESS THAN 1095 days since you became a PR, you are still in compliance.* If you return before you're out of compliance - no issue.

So obviously: return while you are still in compliance.

*This formula works until the fifth anniversary of the day you became a PR - after that, it's five years looking back from any day you are examined e.g. at a border crossing. It's the same thign/arithmetic restatement of the 730 days in five years rule.

Its 2025 they’ll know your travel in & out

The RO is EXTREMELY lenient , far too lenient in my opinion, because people push the proverbial RO envelope

The poster would appear to still be in compliance. There's no leniency in question at all yet.

OP: return ASAP and you won't ahve any troubles. Drag out your return to point when you're not in compliance, and you could have some.
