7 months since they've received it and nothing is not normal. I think even if you called them they can't give you any information on your application because you appointed a paid representative. You will need to get your lawyer to send you whatever he/she has about your application, you need to take out your whip and start yelling at that incompetent lawyer of yours.
It really don’t sound normal. 7 months and was there sponsor approval? Or file transfer to the local vo? Hard to believe nothing was done... I read from your previous posts that biometrics was done. Nothing done you mean medical or pr card?Is there a number I can call
Totally agree. If IRCC followed up with your lawyer for more information, then it means they have received it and should have at least AOR information. Ask you lawyer for this information. If your lawyer cannot produce this information, then something is wrong (with your lawyer)Well your lawyer should have copies of your aor and sponsor approval . Both of those have uci and application numbers . I think you need to ask your lawyer for all copies of these letters ASAP
You can check if your Lawyer is accredited with IRCC, and demand that he/She show you. If not and he/she will not provide you with the information I would report them asap to the Upper Canada Law Society.Totally agree. People make mistakes abd no one is perfect.Obviously in their system to wrong date so they should change itIf you submitted through your lawyer, they need to provide the documentation for when they sent it. IRCC won’t just change the date arbitrarily ( or at all) just because you ask. It won’t change the processing times.
Personally, your lawyer sounds a bit sketchy.
Its not obvious at all and as indicated by prior poster they will not change the date. The date they have is the date they received itPeople make mistakes abd no one is perfect.Obviously in their system to wrong date so they should change it
No they said June 14 2019Your Lawyer probably submitted the application In December if they state it was received December 20. CIC will not change the date because a lawyer lied to you and said it was sent when it clearly was not. I think you need to address this with your Lawyer and possibly do the rest yourself. Good Luck
