6212 i.e. NOC 2006
6311 i.e. NOC 2011
They are both the same 'food service supervisor'

Question: Does it really matter what noc code we write in the cec application? Or we consider what is in the lmo application form which is 6212?

assuming you haven't applied yet, YES, it matters. CIC will be able to see both NOC 2006 and 2011 in their system, but will evaluate your job duties using NOC 2011. In some cases, there may be no real difference.

I have same concern.

LMO issued on 2012 was NOC 6212.Both job description are the same. I am with immigration lawyer on my application and been advised to use NOC 6311 even with reference letter too.
What have you decided?
