6 months crossed since AOR - FSW India

Hi everyone

I need advice on my EE Application.

Age 23
CRS 471

ITA 8th August 18
AOR 14th August 18

I completed 180 days post AOR on 14th February
Just one week to go to mark the 7 month completion since AOR.

I have ordered GCMS Notes twice and received the same info

Eligibilty - Met
Info sharing - In progress
Criminality - Not started
Security - Not started


What should i do other than waiting
Really running out of patience

Please help

Unfortunately, there isn't anything you can do other than be more patient, which you are obviously already are...
What you can do to ease your frustration is maybe ring the call center, speak to an agent, and get more info.

I called up the agent and she was extremely rude.
She told me the status is exactly what I myself can see in my account online.

I asked her if everything's fine and she replied back with a rude tone that if they need anything else , I'll receive an email and hung up the call

If your last one was less than a month ago, wait a bit more before doing so, to give some more time for some progress.
If more than a month, go ahead.

Can you advice how long is it taking normally these days ?

According to Immitracker a ton of people of August AOR's have got PPR's

Also does going beyond the 6 month waiting point increase the chances for refusal ?

Some applications simply need more scrutiny and review.
Each case is different.
Remember only 80% of applications get processed within 6 months, the remaining 20% are still processed, but takes longer...

The only update is I have crossed 7 months since AOR

BG checks not started yet

The only thing you can do unfortunately is to wait.
You can call to inquire about your application and get a glimpse of a clue about the reason for delay, or order GCMS notes.

Called the agent
She has sent a reminder email to ny VO Ottawa but no reply , its been more tha. Two weeks to this as well.

Will complete 8 months since aor on 14th April 2018.

A small update everyone

Finally BG checks started

Ghost update/IP2/BGC - 19/4/2019
& Criminality passed

Security not started.

Also file moved to Sydney , Nova scotia office from Ottawa
