6 months are over but PR not yet received

Hi All,

After sumbitting my PR application 6 months are over. Expected date of completion was Februay 6, 2019. I equired through web form and got to know that my application is still at CIO- Sydney. I believe that its is the forst stage.

Anyone if facing this much delay in their application? What should be done in this case?

There is unfortunately not much to do!
But you should both call CIC and send them a message through the IRCC webform and inform them how you now have crossed 6 months and ask why your application is taking longer than usual.
You may however not get the answer you are hoping for. So the next option is to order GCMS notes which will tell you exactly what has happened to your application so far. With these notes you could be proactive, for instance the notes might say review required for POF. And then you could send them a new bank statement to clear that up.
Or in worst case, you might find out that you are in SS. But than at least you can better plan your life the coming months instead of just waiting.

SS stands for security screening and is one of the reasons application take longer than usual to process.

Well, I do not know why it wouldn't be worth ordering GCMS notes, whichever office your file is at. As I said, GCMS notes are the only way to really find out what's going on with your application.

But with that said, if it was me, I would both call, raise a IRCC webform and order GCMS notes.
