6 Band for International Business Management is Good?

HI ALL,THIS IS WHAT I GOT FOR RECENTLY GIVEN IELTS TEST--
Overall Band 6.0
Listening 6.5
Reading 6.0
Writing 6.0
Speaking 5.5

AND I AM APPLYING FOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT(Certificate and Diploma Programs) WHICH REQUIRED 6.0 with no band score less than 5.5.
SO PLEASE SUGGEST ME GUYS WHETHER I SHOULD START ADMISSION WITH THESE BANDS?
ALSO MY BROTHER TOLD ME THAT WITH THIS BAND MY VISA WILL GET REJECTED?IS IT SO?

hi,

i have also opted for the same course in george brown college and before appearing for the ielts i was told by the consultants that i wud require overall band of 6.5 and no less than 6 band to stand a decent chance of getting admission in gbc or humber...Luckily i got 7 band and got offer letters frm both the colleges.I think u can apply in other colleges like fanshew & fleming i think they do accept 5.5 band but again u never know what wud be the response from visa office...best of luk

If 6.5 is required then why they state that overall band of 6 with no band less than 5.5.If u see i am eligible for admission and it is centinial college.Please guys suggest me the correct way......wanna try with this...bcz i have seen my friend also going with 6 band and they got a visa...

Well the thing is even if u get letter of agreement frm colleges there is absolutely no guarantee that u will get a green signal from visa office...The worst part there is no standard rule for procuring a students visa its absolutely upon der discretion...Sometimes they may reject a candidate with 5.5 band and at times accept it.It all depends upon your luck...Anways hope for d best
