Hi

Im getting 444 points according to www . cic . gc . ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp (Sorry not allowed to post links)
I have a few questions, please answer them :)

1) Is this the accurate result for my points? (Calculated from www . cic . gc . ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp)
2) When is the next draw for the pool? Are these dates listed somewhere?
3) Should 444 points be enough? Im guessing (not hoping) that it will be enough after this 5th draw.
4) Has the immigration department declared a max number of candidates they want to take in this year? Like a cap?
5) If the lowest candidate offered ITA had a score of 481, does this mean everybody above him also got it?
6) Is the cut off for all categories or separate for CEC, FSW, etc? (Because everybody who applied under FSW seem to be getting an ITA and not CEC)

Thanks in advance :)

Anybody answer this please? Thanks!

Above link is accurate.
2) When is the next draw for the pool? Are these dates listed somewhere?
No one knows. But I guess it could be this week.
Yes. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/rounds.asp
3) Should 444 points be enough? Im guessing (not hoping) that it will be enough after this 5th draw.
Difficult to predict. Try to wait for the results. Might come down to 444 in 2months atleast.
4) Has the immigration department declared a max number of candidates they want to take in this year? Like a cap?
No cap. But they have a overall target of 85000, I remember.
47,000 to 51,000 will come through the federal skilled worker class and the federal skilled trades class combined.
21,000 to 23,000 skilled workers through the Canadian experience class.
46,000 to 48,000 skilled workers will receive permanent residency through the provincial nominee program
5) If the lowest candidate offered ITA had a score of 481, does this mean everybody above him also got it?
Mostly yes.
6) Is the cut off for all categories or separate for CEC, FSW, etc? (Because everybody who applied under FSW seem to be getting an ITA and not CEC)
No. Both are same.

Thanks in advance :)

I have a doubt.. You need to have minimum 67 to qualify on the first hand.. It is a prerequisite and mandatory.. then comes the CRS points.. I believe without having the 67 points, even with higher CRS points, application will be rejected..

correct if you get 67 points in fsw then your profile will be accepted in EE

Congratulation to all of those who got ITA.

I am not very hopeful while seatting at 333/343 score. Considering 1500 ITAs per further draw and assuming spreadsheet representing 2% of total candidates. It will take 24x more draws to drop the score at that point if fresh supply remains zero.

wait for the next two draws

Hello Friends,

I have below doubts about fund requirement..

Does jewellery & gold ornaments are considered as a liquid asset. Is that is valid POF?

If not what if I sold them & deposited amount in bank. In that case will they ask me source of that fund & what should I produce as a proof for that fund?

Gold and Jewellery are fine a CA has to certify there value liquid cash is ok as well they are not concerned with the source of funds but minimum funds should be there depending on the number of people travelling wiithhh you ... bank statement as proof of funds is ok or bank can give you a letter with the number of funds in your account . contact the bank manager he will help you the clerk will say we dont issue such letters bank managers do

A draw in next 10 days with 3000 plus ITA. As the number of applicants within a CSR range increased so now the DRAW of luck starts .

Do not be surprised if you do not get an ITA even if you have the required score because they will now take people with the lucky draw system.

Scores will continue to come down dramatically ..... any body withe French language knowledge can also look for Quebec nomination program

French is must for that and there is a cap of 1650 people. last year it got filled in 4 months.

I can't see your reasoning. It has been clearly stated by CIC that ALL applicants in the pool who has more than the cutoff (Inclusive) will be given ITA.

Lucky draw? doesn't sound good. It is 'unlucky' for those who don't get it.

So you all who are celebrating scores of 481 or 670 have received an expression of interest?? What is the point of being happy if you can't apply with this score???

Madarchodo please clarify this express entry

It really lowers the hopes, if despite scores dropping it's gonna decided by a (un)lucky draw.

I'm not sure this would fly if the government tried it.

Does anybody have a count of the count of the number candidates in the 375 - 381 range? ( from the spread sheet)

We can get an estimate of the total of people in the pool.

There is no 'Lucky Draw'.

If you have an eligible profile in the pool with a CRS score greater than the cutoff and you are eligible for whichever immigration stream the draw is from, you receive an ITA.

Having random draws makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and goes completely against the idea of Express Entry, why would they want a lower-scoring applicant instead of a higher-scoring one?

It's been explained multiple times both in this forum and on CIC's site.
