Hi all, I'm new here!
I've read this topic and it's very helpful! It's actually giving a lot of hope ;) Congrats to those who got the ITA!

I'm like most of you, currently living and working in Toronto and preparing my EE application.
The problem is that I'll most likely have a maximum of 300 points as I don't have a LMIA..
I was wondering if passing a second language test would give me a lot of points there? Does it worth paying extra $300 to have it?

Knowing that it is my native language I should get a maximum of points with it but as a second test, do you know how much points I can get with that second test? Is it going to count as a main one or just give me a few points?

My working visa expires in March 2016 so my question is should I wait and hope a drop of the draw in December? Or should I pay that amount to get extra points?

Thanks!

Hello everyone..

have gone thru so many replies for 5th draw.. mine score is 356.
please let me know when can I expect ITA?

Maybe in October or November due to the large number of applicants in this range!
Just a guess!

Thanks Hamidur but are you serious with the maximum of .. 6 points?! What is the combined points system?
I'm single without any kids or wife but even 24points for $300..

This is a request to all you numbers people: when you look at the distribution graph in the spreadsheet, can you make a rough guess how many people globally might be in the different point groups knowing the number of ITA's given out today? The old FSW est was that forum represented approx 4% of applicants. I don't know if that assumption holds for EE or not.
what the minimum entrance criteria for express entry ??

Maximum 6 Points for Each Ability.. Means For Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.. For each you can get maximum 6... so 6X4 = 24 without a spouse (applicable for you). For people who has spouse, can score maximum 22 for Second language.. You can get all the info regarding points from this link.. :)

I don't know. I had the lawyer done the profile. I have no access to my profile and she didn't reply to my email. That sucks.
Hi! I also created profile using iccrc layer and I also don't have access to my profile and just got message from layer that I got an ITA but I didn't see the ITA in real. I even don't know what it looks like. Should I believe him ? or not? any idea? No access to profile and no ITA on email. then how can I believe him? any suggestion for me. In this situation, i have to be happy or sad?

What is your CRS points?
