Actually I think so far it has been the opposite and they are doing draws based on CRS factors the applicants have (LMIA and PNP) rather than drawing a set number. The numbers have been very peculiar so far (draws of 779, 779, 849 and 1187), if they were drawing based on a set number you would expect them to do draw of 1,000, 1,500 or whatever. Just a thought.

One hopes that the small numbers so far reflect the fact that they are testing the system and they will increase dramatically in the next draw - if they don't increase the number of ITAs scores are going to start dropping very slowly if at all. It's depressing to see the amount of new applicants on here every day who have over 600 points and are just now creating their EE profiles and they are of course just a small sample of the total number who are doing this

it seems that CIC does not have enough applicants in their pool so they may wait another week for the 5th draw ( March 21/22).

CIC will invite candidates from the Express Entry pool to apply on a regular basis. Every round of invitations will have a set of instructions the electronic system will use to invite candidates from the pool. These instructions will be posted on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website before each round of invitations.. These instructions will include:

•the date and time of the round of invitations,
•the number of candidates that will get an ITA, and
•if it applies, which specific immigration program(s) will be included.

I dont understand y did they mention that they shall publish details about draw before the ITA rounds...They keep us hanging and guessing about draws!!!

well they are posting them few hours before the draw time... >:(

how did applicant get 600 point?

A Job Offer with positive LMIA or A Provincial Nomination Certificate or Trades Certificate = 600 Points ;D

Exactly, CanCanada! Thats the biggest mystery. Jave you also noticed one thing? This entire Tier 1 lmia applicants and tier 2 - below 600 applicants only exist for udus.Probably, for CIC they dont care what you have our how much you score. They have to draw X number of applicants from the pool, that's it! The first 1100 (supposedly) would be selected. Where the lowest scores go, they dont care! What do you think?

Exactly they just have to fill their quota and with the express entry they have no backlogs as the ITA's are processed on time .. so i guess its just a way to eliminate backlogs which were happening in the previous years.

Hopefully, friday would be a good day for everyone! God bless!! ;D

Hi All,

Any one can share the CIC link where I see the details of all draws. :)

Thanks,

cic is looking for the candidate who got Pnp or Lima. I dont think the point will drop below 600

If they wanted PNP/LMIA candidates only, they could have made having those mandatory for entering the pool.
