That's ridiculous. With that number of invitations it should have been like 440. Congrats. It seems 470 is the new 450. I doubt they will ever do a similar draw. Beginning 2017 they will go back to the pathetic 1000 invitations draws.

Why short legs and log nose? now we have thousands of CEC applicants with 15 or 30 more points. My CRS jumped from 470 to 490 because of the bonus points.

That doesnt mean anything. I dont think so many people are accumulated here that it wont go under 470 never again. I dont think there are so many CEC to move the cut off score so drastically up. It doesnt make any sense to me. And congratulations?

But you know what. I will celebrate my ITA today by going to the drive-thru of my local Timmies and pay for the order of two cars behind me !

And yes ITA is just starting point of difficult journey ahead bt it's still a start.

I personally think there are a lot of CEC applicants with scores above 450 and 470, as I know many of my classmates will receive ITAs today.

I know with CIC one can't really make any guesses but I wanna believe this is the last draw for the year as they sure do have a lot on their plate now.

I will love to be pleasantly surprised tho with a draw on the 29th or 30th

it's not really spontaneity, most people on forum guess two draws 14th and 21st(week early due to holiday) and both draw follow in line with that predication, 16th(2 days off from 14th due to technical issues) and 22nd(1 day off from 21st) so yea let's not push it too much 51st draw not gonna happen in 2016

Odds are they did it today instead of tomorrow so they could start the holiday weekend early. I suspect this is the last draw for 2016.

I get that but they are really spontaneous which we've seen lately by the days the draws are done, the number of ITAs and all that. Like I said it's only wishful thinking but the rational part of me knows it is very much likely they are done for the year
