hello, i submitted my application on September 20th. I have AOR1, AOR2, and CSQ since I am from Quebec but I still have not received any medical check after 5 months. My visa office is from Singapore. I am sponsoring my wife from Vietnam. I am just wondering if this is normal. Anyone sponsoring their spouses from Vietnam and how long did it take before you received the medical check.

Hi there, I am in a similar boat - My application was submitted October 7th, my local office is Singapore and I also don't have a medical request yet. I already submitted two police checks (UK and Thailand) to Canada in December, then got a notification on Jan 20th that my application had been received by Singapore. It is weird that many on here seem to have had medical requests much earlier, but it seems that it's something to do with Singapore!

Received Second AOR from New Delhi Visa Office - April 2017
Received Interview Request for Nov 2017. I (Sponsor) attended with my wife and Daughter
Was told that we we are approved and that I should get a Medical Check up notice shortly after.
Its been three months since then but I have received no update on my Application.
Please note our application has taken almost 1.5yrs till now which is way over the 12 month timeline.
any advice. ?

12 m processing came into play in December 2016, after you applied.
Have you ordered your GCMS notes
Hey. no I have not applied for GCMS notes since interviewing officer after an hour interview told us we are approved and we should get medical request soon in days to come.
Its been three months and nothing. I will order the notes now but I assumed interviewing visa officer has the final say right?

This wait for medical is normal for some VOs.. We applied early July 2017 and got medical request December 20th 2017. Don't worry.
