if its at the vfs then you can call them up and ask whats going on?

What have you been waiting for the past few months? You should go to the VFS office and request an explanation for your delay. You could also try messaging the embassy's page on Facebook, they're helpful and they reply to your questions. It's called Canada in the UAE

Vfs will not provide him with any information, i have been waiting for 14 weeks now and still nothing. Whatever you ask vfs they have no answer they will just say that your application is being processed. I dont know how long it will take for the visa decision.
