I am planning to go for LMIA next week. My work permit expires in July 2015. But i am expecting ITA by then as i have 438 points but just dont want to take risk by waiting.

same here Rakesh :)
I have 438 points but no job offer / LMIA yet. hoping to get through in the next few draws. Good luck to you too !!

Isn't it trend of LIMA 'auction' will increase and resist score dip.

From what I read on this forum;

(1) not many foreign workers are being given LMIA
(2) which means, PNP is the only factor that can give the 600 points adding to an individual's score, to push their score in the 600-1200 range
(3) those who have PNP will count towards PNP immigration target
(4) many of those scoring high in the EE pool in the beginning of 2015, may be from PNP for 2014
(5) PNP processing takes 6-8 months time, on average, so most of PNP from 2015 may start to come in the pool at later months of 2015

I "speculate", for most of us (who perhaps end up in the pool), who don't have LMIA, and no PNP, the scoring range for ITA will be between 0-600 points on CRS.

On the other hand, we still have to "wait and see" what happens with LMIA. Do LMIA get issued going forward in the year or not.

PNPs are not taking 8 months to process. People on this forum have reported getting them in 2 weeks in BC

Correction, my point is;

(1) (with not many LMIA being issued) PNP is the factor which "keeps" EE pool score in the high 600-1200 range
(2) not all PNP's are getting them as soon as that. I pointed towards "average"

My LMIA NOC code is 3111 (specialist physician). My current job in Canada is LMIA exempt as specialist physician based training fellowship .I have a job offer with LMIA from another employer starting Sept 2015. CELPIP is 12,,12,8,9.
Can i claim points for this LMIA based job offer on completion of training here .
My score is 1073 with this LMIA .
I purposely did not apply in EE earlier , since i was worried if i could get all documents like Police Clearance and ECA in time.
How much time and what documents are asked to be uploaded and in what time frame by CIC.
Should i apply for EE or wait till i get ECA and Police clearance certificate.
Do they ask for Police clearance certificate from other countries you worked in. I worked in Saudi Arabia before coming to Canada one year back on a work permit.
Would appreciate guidance from you all.

Guys

I would like to direct your attention to the language of CIC which says [glow=red,2,300][glow=red,2,300][glow=red,2,300]invitations that may be issued during the period beginning on February 27, 2015 and ending on February 28, 2015 is: 1187

[/glow][/glow][/glow]"May" means that it is possible that there may be fewer candidates than 1187 in 735 points range. Therefore it is not confirmed that the 1187 ITAs are definitely issued.

In my humble point view the CIC is playing points range.

Any comments

Yeah, but if they had 1000+ new people signing up within a week who all had an LMIA or Provincial nomination - isn't that kind of bad for us?
They must have been inviting everyone above 600 points though - there can't be many people between 600 and 735 points. That's super low already. How do people even manage to have only 135 points ^^

they didn't have over a thousand people enter with LMIA or PNO in a week though. The draw on the 20th Feb was basically a correction draw, just reissuing invites under the correct stream to people who'd received invites under a stream they weren't eligible for, it was a CEC only draw.

Guys, is there anyone here who qualified fsw and cec, but got cec ITA? just wonna see if that default fsw rule has changed after the correction draw?

135 points means applicant has 40 year of age(45)+ 10th class(28)+ CLB4(24)+ canadian experience (35)+spouse education 10th class(2)= 135 points. :P :P :P :P :P :P

Well guys I know we all kinda talk about our education and the majority here are Bachelor's, Master's, Phd...and all that but i guess Canada needs people in semi -skilled positions too otherwise if we are all so bright and educated who is going to do the other jobs? ;)
