Hi everyone,
I'm hoping I can get some answers here to build a stronger case for my fourth application.
I applied for tourist visa three times and I got denied those three times. The reason for denial are:
1. Insufficient proof of income
2. Insufficient travel history
3. Insufficient proof of ties to home country
To address these concerns, here are the plan of action I intend to do before applying:
1. My income since the last time I applied is tripled now. In addition, my partner, who is a Canadian citizen, is going to help with the expenses when we visit. Is there a safe amount of money to have in the bank to convince them I can support myself for a one month visit in Canada?
2. We are planning to go to Vietnam for a month or two. I am from the Philippines so I don't need a visa going to Hanoi. But, we are going to stay for more than 21 days which will require me to apply for a tourist visa. Will that count? And would it be enough to support my case?
If not, where would you suggest us to go? Japan, Korea and Australia are the accessible countries nearby that will require me visa to enter.
3. We are also planning to buy a property here in my country before applying. Will being a land owner counteract the third objection?
Another thing to mention is that we just have a baby and I am not married to my partner. We are planning to go to Canada to introduce her to my partner's family. How should I go about this? We will apply for Proof of Citizenship and then apply for her Canadian passport. Would that affect my case in a good way?
Thank you in advance for your help.
