47th Draw - CRS 470 - ITA 2427

I'm on PGWP and have been working for my current employer since November 2015. Is it possible to apply for another type of work permit with my employer support to get the extra 50 points?

For the extra 50 points your employer would have to get a positive LMIA. They cost around $1k and can take anywhere from 1-6 months to come through.
I noticed in another post you mentioned your language scores are 7, 7, 9, 10. It might be faster and more cost-effective to see if you can get 9 or more in all four areas, as that can potentially double the points you get from 'Skill Transferability Factors'

EDIT: Another factor I just thought of is how long is left on your PGWP? Because if not long, then you might want to get the LMIA regardless (if you do this, make sure you file it as 'dual intent' so that it can be used both for a work permit application as well as permanent residency application)
 
I got confirmation too guys. SO happy. Received results on Friday, applied Yesterday and now ITA . ;D

Congratulations mate.
Even I applied on 14th night, got it today. I've even got a message in the account now.
 
ITA received here too, and as expected it clearly states "Your invitation is valid for 60 days from the date of this message", so nobody here go thinking you got 90 days just because of the new rules coming in :P

Congratulations !!! Lucky guy, I am waiting in pool for a year. Waiting at 467 for an ITA. Wish everyone with a good score gets through this system with positive results.

What is your job profile?

Thanks. I've already got maximum points from "Skill Transferability Factors" because of my Canadian work experience and education. Retaking CELPIP exam is probably my best option. I got 93 points from language but I can get 10 10 9 9 if I rewrite the exam, this will jump me to 493
 
Got my Ita also ... took couple of hours.... once again congrats to everyone who received ITA to apply and all the best for other applicants ;D

This will be my second ITA as well, after getting one all the way back in March, then AOR in May, and then rejected on a ridiculous technicality just last week. Definitely double check everything in your applications folks! You don't want to waste 8 months like I did :P

I am at 463 my wife might try to to improve her ielts score one last time before i loose 5 more points in jan,i think by jan my chances will be minimum thats why am stressed

Hi i got my ita as well.. :)

Just have one question i am in canada i have done indian pcc in january 2016 and havent been to india since then. Do i have to do it again or is it valid?

I heard its valid for 6 months only..

If you are sure it is only valid for 6 months, then you will have to get a new one.
