Sponsored Spouse status on Canadian government website uncertain of meaning?

Hi

Currently the government website states the following. The medical was requested in November 2012.

We received your application for permanent residence on September 27, 2012.


Medical results have been received.

I don't understand does this mean that decision has been made?

I am Canadian born and I was living in PK last year with my husband and returned to Canada July 2012 to have my baby daughter she was born September 2012. I sent in all her papers so that CIC would know that my husband and I had a Canadian baby.

thank you any help in what the possible outcome can be in this situation... God willingly it's positive one.

In light of what is taking place in PK currently... wondering is their any chance that my husband can apply for a refugee status so that he can go to Canada with me and my 1 yr old daughter... as I feel that if the situation gets worse our lives might be in danger.

Any info, concerns pls share your thoughts thank you

I don't think the refugee route is doable.

Since he's outside of Canada, he would first have to be recognized as a refugee by the UN or a similar organization. He would then have to be selected for resettlment in Canada.

thank you so much for your response.. I also asked my dad and uncle and they said the same thought as you.

Will just wait it out my dad suggested sending a letter to immigration
