446 points Any chance

I have 446 points on express entry. I studied in Canada from 2005-2007. Did my masters and left canada. My ielts score is
Reading 8.0
Listening 8.5
Speaking 7.5
Writing 7.0 (strange thing is 10 years back I got 8.0 in writing)

My question is do I have a chance of being selected in express entry. The points are hovering above 450. Will the cut-off ever come to 446?

Think you both have a fair chance of getting ITA. Even after the PNP if they are planning to meet the CIC targets CRS will go down considerable. Patience is the key here.

Have you applied for PNP of any province?? Try that route to increase your scores..I think Ontario has a stream for masters graduates..not sure but do check their website.

I did my masters back in 2007 so the ontario masters pnp is no longer applicable. I have already applied to onatario pnp but so far no nomination.

Still considering you have a educational degree from Canada you definitely have a greater chance of getting a PN! So keep your hopes up...you still have many draws before December.

446 looks good.... But seems from last few draws gives such a intuition that they do not want to come down to 450 atleast for 4-5 months. they are behaving in such manner bcz they have lots of people in the range of 460-500 and also people are getting pnp and lmia....

yes it is possible.... so never loose hope. even next draw is a big hope for all of us....

You mean after creating an EE profile? If so, yes you need a EE profile to get invitation for Ontario PNP in some streams. Even for other provinces mostly you need an EE profile before applying for PN.

Check the eligibility and requirements for different provinces and their nomination programs.
