when do you think the score will come below 480?

Yes it will. Since PNP nominations are drying up and LMIA is becoming a unicorn. Only it wont go below 450 ever. Each day new applications come into the pool. Young highly qualified people who have good IELTS scores. They will keep the CRS above 450 for quite a long time.

Do you think 472 stands a chance this year? I'm also sitting at this score and pretty worried about that the coming policy change will reduce my chance.

its all luck ... so dont worry too much about it... CRS cut off goes up and down all the time. from the previous examples it is evident that the 450+ is a good score... so wait a while and lets hope the score comes down soon..! :) there have been a path of 500+ cut offs as well, then it came down again.. plus very few ppl have 480+ score ..so u stand a good chance

I'm just curious how many of those young people with great education and IELTS are applying every 2 weeks ? I don't really thing it that many, i believe that Canadian government doing some revisions to EE now and they issue low number of ITA's to keep extra ITA's for revised version of EE.

Lets just wait for the mid year report Voldy. That should put to rest all curiosities.

PS : Unmarried applicant under 30 with Masters 4yrs+ workex and a good IELTS gets a nice CRS.

They are not even releasing the mid year reports so that we can analyze.

Do yourself a favor and read some data from IRCC, it's free to access. The backlog as of March 2016 is 383,000 applications, a 9% reduction from 2015 . It's not going anywhere soon.

There's absolutely nothing interesting about these draws. IRCC simply cuts the ITAs for express entry/economic streeam to focus on family reunification and refugees.

If you eventually do yourself a favor and take a deeper look into stats, you will see that there was only around 92k people (not applications) in inventory from pre-EE system. Please stop posting unproven data in every topic.

Before the ITA drop in May 2016 there were about 1000 people with the score 470+ every two weeks.
Now there about 750 people with score 482+ every two weeks.

so there are 250 people with the score between 470 and 481 are entering every two weeks into EE.

We had 8 draws since May, so there are about 2000 people in the pool scored 470-481

Guys,

I follow the OINP thread very closely since I am interested for the Ontario PNP. All 400+ scores which had received a PT notification from Ontario from Oct'15 to Jan'16 are receiving their nominations now and hence are getting the addition of 600 points into their EE profile.

An ideal processing time for the Ontario PNP nomination is 3 months, however they took approx. 6 months to process the files this time because of the high number of PT nominations issued by them earlier in this year.

This could also be the reason why the CRS score is not coming down and not only that high qualified people are joining EE every two weeks. These nominations from Ontario will dry up by the end of November'16 so post that you will see the CRS scores coming down.

Also, I watched one video on youtube recently from a CIC representative who stated that from Oct'16 they are planning to draw 2000+ candidates which would bring the CRS cut off scores close to 450 or may be below that as well.

Keeping the fingers crossed as all 450+ score candidates should receive an ITA before the end of this year.

I appreciate your efforts nothing against it.
However, the reality is - all these are speculations only. Initially it was September, then got changed to October and now November.

Anyone here from Ontario who has received OINP with only 2 or 3 year diploma (score above 400)?

I am at 443 with three years advance diploma.

It doesn't matter what degree you hold. As long as you have above 400 points, Ontario will send you PT notification in your EE profile. Once you accept it, you will have to send your application package to them and then the long wait for them to issue you an AOR and finally the nomination

If the previous poster's ECA was assessed as a 2 or 3-year diploma, then they do not qualify for OINP under the current rules, which is a bachelor's degree at the minimum. We'll have to see if they change the rules for 2017.

Do you mean that people who are in the EE pool can get nominated by a province if they have a good score without even applying for a provincial nomination?

Not any province. This is done by only Ontario province. If you have a score of 400+, you will receive a PT notification from Ontario province. Other provinces have their own requirements to fulfill. However, Ontario province does not have many restrictions, all they need is a 400+ score and they will invite you.
