Hi my friends, I got a PhD and did one year with the title of "post-doctoral fellow" which basically just perform the experiments, write papers and speak in conference. So, when I read the main duties, I found I only have done 3 of them. I didn't do anything on teaching but only research.
What is the risk for me?

To claim one year continuous experience in Lecturing, you need an employer's report. Did you engage in any other job before and while on the PhD? If such a job is included on the NOC, may be a Management function, that can be your primary occupation, while you still earn 25 full marks for the PhD. Afterall, your educational qualification does not have to flow with your Job title. Do I make any sense ddw2014?

Thanks DeeBruv. Unfortunately, I don't think I do any lecturing on the students. I don't know whether VO will reject my case if my job duties only match tree job duties of 4011.

Your job duties needs to match most of those listed for the NOC. If all you did was research and present papers, I don't see how you qualify.

hi, I applied under same NOC, actually the primary duties they want is basically teaching stuff...

I don't think you can apply under 4011 fir your postdoc. There is another NOC for postdoc. I claimed my postdoc experience under that NOC.

You should have an occupation(s) you have been involved in the past 10 years, which may fall under one of the 50 listed eligible NOCs. If you apply for that NOC which of course in Not 4011, you will still earn your full score for PhD. You need an Employers reference letter for that chosen NOC written in a letter-headed paper of that company.

I am also planning to apply under NOC 4011 - University lecturer. I have gathered all the required documents along with proof of funds, English test and ECA reports. However the ECA report I received mentions my MSc degree is equivalent in Canada is 4 years BSc degree!!

I have completed my BSc (3 Years), B.Ed (1 Year) and MSc (2 Years) with distinction grades in all the exams from Indian Unviversity. I also have 6 years experience in the same field.

My query is - Am I still eligible to apply under FSW even my ECA report shows my MSc degree is equivalent as Canadian BSc degree?? Please let me know your responses on urgent basis as I have very little time remaining to send my documents. Your help is much appreciated.

Dear members I'm new in this forum and I really need advice from you. WES evaluated my education as Master's degree, also I attached document which shows that now I'm PhD student in my country (from Nov. 2014- Nov 2016). The problem is that I forgot to mention the entrance of PhD study in my attached sheet of schedul A (Personal history) :( CIO received my application on 19th November. Any ideas what should I do.
Thanks in advance :)
