No change in status.

Do you guys think it is a good idea to raise an enquiry and ask CHC New Delhi that, are the external agencies bound by any time frame within which they need to reply back to a visa office on background clearance? If yes, then how many months :(

4.5 months on background checks, this is really ridiculous :o

Hi there,

I sent my medicals on 11/09/2009. 9 months for background check??? People are complaining about 3, 4, or 5 months not receiving PPR after doing their medicals. What shall i say? 9 months. OMG. Noway ALL this time is allocated for background check. I don't know what to say. I am almost given up. really.

Wow :o !!!!! can you please share your time line and also let us know if you have stayed abroad (more than 6 months) specifically in US or Canada or both. Just wanted to know if this is happening to people who have stayed there as most of in here have.

BTW have you raised this with your visa office, what do they have to say about this.

DAMN, this is scary :'(
