4 months since medicals done but no reply yet. Disappointing !!!!!

Hi PPS7,

Even i feel the same, the request of Passport was an indication that they want to stamp the visa. The police clearance should not be older than 3 months when they make u wait for more than 3 months with passport. Do you think is there a specific time (days) then can hold our passport.

I also want to know what is time limit they can hold passports, but certain members have passport with CHC for more than four months. On CSIS site they claim that 50% case verification has been done in 45 days.....but how much time a case in queue before start verification, that GOD knows?

Over the fiscal year 2003-2004, the Service received some 44,907 requests for Immigration Screening from within Canada (including RDP) and issued 46,183 security clearance assessments. Additionally, the Service received some 24,243 Immigration Screening applications from outside Canada and 4,646 from the United States for a total of 73,796 immigration cases. The median turnaround time was 42 days (through the Electronic Data Exchange Program) for requests from within Canada. Under the Overseas Program, our Security Liaison Officers were consulted on 4,814 cases.

One more question i had federal case which i had filed in 2005 against my PNP case for now, do you have an idea what must be the reason to withdraw that case by CHC.

I am pretty sure they must be having soem kind of dead line as to how long they could hold our PP. I am not requesting any detail on PP as I am kind of afriad that they might return without visa which will further delay my case. just want to know this dead line thing. Do they personally answer queries at CHC New Delhi in that case we mite be able get an answer.

pl have total faith and pray god that it will be thro i was in the same boat ....PRAY GOD thats the only solution .....man does not have control over many many things....leave it to him ....i am sure he will do good to all.. KEEP THE FAITH....many a times all our analysis lead us back to god and his mercy...wish you lots of luck for your pp stamping early...

Its been 3 months since i have been waiting for passport .And after seeing his thread i can estimate that it would take 2 more months atleast from now.

dear seniors, my brother applied and sent pp on 24th dec 2010, and he is still waiting for his pp, but i send pp on 24th feb and i got my pp 0n 22nd april, so plz suggest what he can do....plz help seniors...

I think his file is also been selected for background checks....He is as lucky as we are......
So it is Appox 132 days, he is waiting for passport. Do he have FTH or he stayed for more than six months in foreign country especially in canada?

Nothing Much can be done....Only ask him to pray to God & mail CHC for update status Regularly after 25-30 days.... That's i am doing.....

As for my opinion he should get his passport within month of May coz background checks can take 5-6 months....

Also please update us whenever he got his passport as many like him are waiting for passport.

@PPS7 Hi ... another week Gone and i am still there... another monday to come by and hope is still alive ... This might be my Monday... i came to know that the DD which i have sent along with my passport has been cleared by Canadian High commision on 3rd April....Its been a month now still no clue abt my passport....once dd has been cleared which itself means that its a positive sign or not ...Ur thoughts on it...

Dear all ..
Im have exactly same time lines like you..
I have did medicals in dec , and they recieved them on 23 dec 09 .. On March they sent me additional med's.. I did them and sent them on 25 march..
I asked Qorax about the estimated processing time for additional med's and said 30-45 days .. ==> tommorow is the 45th day
lets hope tommorow will be my day and recieve PPR..

DD has nothing with approval of file....but after medical rejection is only if you have medical or security check problem....which is very rare....so donot worry.....hope for this monday......keep updating
