@ SG,
I think next monday is going to be your day.....As it is fast track application it should not take more than 5 months...so lets hope for next monday....
As CSIS will also be accountable to some time frame so this frustrating phase should end soon....
So i request to all those who are going through this to stay in touch....
regards :-\

I don't think so :-[ Have been thinking the same since the last 4 months but now I am losing interest now.but since I have invested so much time and money it just want to get over it once and for all

@ SG

no, i have'nt. like you my PPR/med request was made in about 2 weeks of submitting docu. in some other forum i read that such a thing usually happens when the case is refered to CSIS for BC. Case specific enquiries have indicated that they have asked external agencies for clearance etc... hence the assumption that BC is on.

Notting yet. I don't know y I keep getting this feeling that my case has gone into a looong spin.

DONT THEY HAVE A TIME LIMIT WITHIN WHICH THEY HAVE TO TAKE A DECISION ON A CASE.

@ SG and PPS7

every once in a while few cases get stuck in the detailed checks...these are not random but based on the procedural guidelines and perception of VO who makes the decision to refer the case for detailed checks. Discretion plays an important role. While the processing time guidelines are there but there is fine print which accompanies these guidelines e.g processing excludes actions and time taken by external agencies.

let us not loose hope and as rightly said by PPS7 that we should keep ourselves updated. Infact other members of the forums who are in similar situation are also requested to join. It will help ease the anxiety and provide an insight into probable stage our cases are going through.

@SG
buddy donot loose hope, it is frustrating time and CSIS take 4-5 months for detail check.....so as per my opinion you should get visa this month.
So best of luck.

hi amrit,

send email to chc and request for confirmation of dd and passports as you have send them in month of feb.

Yup Amrit, send an email to CHC to confirm the same.

Hi all,

Please share my time line as I too am waiting for a while. Though i have a PNP application at ND my federal skilled application which i had filled in 2005 has been withdrawan by CHC themselves and the reason stated is that since u have an active PNP application your federal skilled has been withdrawn on 29 March 2010.I too have a FTH as i had been working on cruise ships, i have been to US and some other European countries. its been 3 months I am at home thinking whats happening and wondering whether i should look for a job in India or wait for my PP. Its very frustating at the moment.

Hope this wait ends soon and all the best to all who are waiting like me.

Adi

Hi Adi,

Same here.....waiting from last three months and some members are waiting for more than four month....so bit scary......They should send request for passport when they satisfied in all respect.....I was abroad (in canada) on work permit and they send passport request & as it is illegal to send passport to in and out India, so i decided to come back but i think it was wrong decision...... :-[
