4 MONTHS since AOR without any update or document request ? =/

Just wondering if anyone on here experienced such a thing as 4 months since AOR without any update or document request ?
Received strictly no document resquest from CIC, received AOR on April 8 (3 months 1/2 ago), and since medicals passed no update at all.
I know it'll be 4 months in another 2 weeks, but wondering if this ever happened ?

Would you think it's a bad sign ? or good sign ?
Did you end up being rejected 4 months later without any document request (if yes, why ?), or does CIC usually rejects cases way before 4 months in the process ?
My eligibility review is still marked as "in progress" after such a long time. Any cases where that line on MyCIC never got updated before a decision was made ?

Any advice and experience sharing would be appreciated

You're far from being alone on this. Check my timeline. The last MyCIC update I had was in end April. And since then only ECAS updated to "In Process". Quite a few of members out here with minimal to no changes in MyCIC for nearly 3 months. In your case, it is hardly 2 months counting from Medicals passed.

Hang in there. CIC appears to be busy clearing the Feb Mar backlog for now.

Do you think they prioritize applications based on the "medicals passed" date or the AORs ? (isn't it supposed to be 6 months from the AOR received ?)
My ECAS is still on "Application Received". No update there either, and the dates are incorrect (application received in February, but only submitted APP in April).

Hanging in there, but no updates makes me a bit anxious :'( especially when I see on the database that half the applicants from April 1-10 already got PPR...

No sure at all. EE is too new for there to be any kind of process predictability yet. You would know this based on whatever limited analysis you were able to do on that sheet!

The only hope one can have is in the knowledge that one isn't alone in this scenario, that there are others with vastly different profiles who are stuck as well. It would appear that this isn't a targeted delay keeping one's profile in mind but a systemic issue. So long as there are others waiting for status updates, one is secure.

YAY ! Being "stuck" turns out to be a positive trend - especially with CIC 8)
At least we're still in the race (hopefully till the end) and you're right, better to see things that way

You're not alone on this! We almost have an identical timeline. Here's mine:

ITA received on March 27 (FSW - Inlander)
Application submitted on April 2
AOR received on April 7
BG in progress on April 9
Medicals passed on May 11 (I had to submit the x-ray later due to pregnancy)
GCMS notes ordered on July 13

ECAS: Application received with 3 lines

I am getting more nervous every day since my implied status expired on May 19. Typically, I have until August 19th to figure everything out.
Also, please update April's spreadsheet with my info

Hopefully, we'll hear from CIC this week.

btw, KaydenB, we both got ITA for FSW on the same day with the same amount of points (496 here too)
our AOR is close too (mine is Apr 13)

Since May, myCIC hasn't changed at all...

esantos, someone at CIC confirmed that your application is approved!!!

None of us have anything like that yet.

Similar timelines here as well and I am an inland FSW!! The last update was 1.5 months ago with my BG check changing to 'In Progress' on mycic. Nothing since.

Yes my friend! It's been a long wait (and that also applies for all of us)

But I believe that in the next week of so most of us will get the so wanted PPRs, as March applicants are also clearing up.
Once March applicants are cleared, April will be flooded with PPRs ;D
