Also, 4 months is way too early to start inquiring about the status of your application, many people wait at least 6 months to 3 years for their spouses to come here, so please be patient.

Thanks for pointing that out, didn't notice it.

If it's under secondary review, I'm guessing they're trying to determine if the sponsor is ineligible because she was not residing in Canada, but I'm confused because the OP says on one hand, she's "never left Morocco", and then also says she's in Canada now.

How about after few months waiting and CIC made mistake losing your original payment and they sent back all of your applications package and you should start from Zero after waiting few months ?

Karimov, I know that you applied Outland . Please read about inland applicants 2011 to 2012 , waiting without working .
Until now, there are few inland applicants 2011 to 2012 on this forum are still waiting.

This app is under secondary review because the sponsor, though in Canada, doesn't meet the Residency Obligation. From OP's posts, it sounds like she was able to renew her PR card based on H&C. However, that doesn't negate the fact the she doesn't meet the RO, requiring extra investigation by CIC.

After I won the appeal, our file was 'misplaced' They located it 5 months later in original v.o. Then had to wait 3 months more before they started on it again. On 2 occasions they said they didn't receive my updated docs. Of course I had my proof. I couldn't take it anymore and went crying to my M.P office. There I found a wonderful person who helped a lot.

There is more to the horror story but I don't want to scare people. I am very grateful that my partner is here with me (landed April 2014) So much for ''relationship is not genuine"

The v.o should be fired for the pain and aggravation they caused me and many others. Although they received many complaints about this V.o......apparently they got promoted ! How sick is that. ?

Part of the reason I like Immigration consultants, lawyers is because they know a lot how the system works. I would be sitting in an asylum if not for them.

The best part is that our application was straightforward......no ex's, no kids. Just lots of incompetence !!!!!

Hang in there.........waiting is the hardest part ! Best to keep busy.


In closing.....waiting 4 months is not a long time...

We can and must do better ! This episode has put a black stain on my love for Canada !

I was 2012 Inland Applicant and I have landed in Feb 2014.... Thanks God .
