having over optimistic attitude bring adverse effects, don't think that scores will come down to even 400. Prepare yourself for some other option. Even i am at 386 but having plans on other hand is always recommended.

what other plans can we have???...especially for someone outside canada?..no job offers, obtaining LMIA next to impossible, majority PNP requires job offer...cant see options at all...

Increase in CRS is only possible by improving language score. Otherwise no other option is available.
LMIA with foreign experience is next to impossible. Agree on PNP also as it definitely requires a job offer.
Not more than 5-10% increase in CRS is possible

CLB 9 already..age under 30..n m a graduate (cant really think of post grad now coz it ll take 2 years)...

I'm in the same boat! Just can increase 10 to 15 points by reappearing IELTS if I can get more than my current scores! (I already have CLB 9). And I think it doesn't worth .

Guys.. 8th draw is done. 453 Cutoff with 715 invites. Seems like CIC wants to hold the cutoff near 450 for now, may be a few months at least.

Does anyone have an idea about IELTS reports --> in case if I retake IELTS and my band score goes lower than increasing, can I still use the current IELTS or it has to be latest only for Express Entry purpose?

As I said wait for next 2 draws and you will get better picture of when will reach that level of score.

i agree with you but in this 8th draw they again set the criteria for 453 like 6th draw??? what is this and how they are calculating this? when wud b the next draw any idea???

The score is high because of less ITA.
