Won't it be nice of Canada if they lower the cut off to let's say 460 for the draw prior to Canada Day? And then after that they can restrict intake again until September hehehe...that way, most of us waiting will be happy hehe.

It seems like 480 has become the new 450. I was hoping liberals will be able to concentrate on us international students but i guess they have chosen to dedicate their full time to help out the refugees and leave us in a limbo for the past 4 months or so. At least with conservatives the points were guaranteed to drop to 450ish every 3rd or 4th draw

480 is expected. However, if no of ITAs remain low, one never knows then..

The CRS score prediction tool on estimated current at 488.... 36th draw with 486.. so pretty much spot on.

I would suggest as based on myimmitracker - it would be between 470-490.

hi, based on your tracker- can you predict if and when the score will drop to 460?

thanks,
Richard

I guess this will be the last draw with low numbers i.e on 29th June. After July we will see draws with larger invites.

You're absolutely right bro they could have been conducted 2 consecutive draws within 7 days so atleast we have any chance but i think either they are too busy doing other shit or they are dumbass as they can't see the situation.

Let's just trust CIC instead of throwing hate at them every time our scores don't meet time cut off.

If you are meant to go to Canada you will get selected. We're the ones applying to Canada after all so we need them more than they need us hehe :)

The point of frustration here is the lack of transparency and predictability. No one knows whether we can trust that official in the video, who promised the lower scores in September.
So here is the deal. Those who have borderline scores could in theory rush to learn French and increase their scores in 4-6 months through those additional points.
OR those people could focus on building up their professional skills that would guarantee their employment and higher salaries and ultimately - higher taxes for Canada. So suppose the points cut-off will drop indeed. In this case those who started learning French would basically have wasted their time: they will still get invited, but they could have been even of more help to Canadian economy.

When is the next draw due? Any idea.

Fingers crossed for the round of invites tomorrow.

Personally, I would not call learning a second language like French a waste of time especially if you intend to migrate to Canada.
Learning a language is not just about getting extra points in the Express Entry, it actually makes you competitive in the labor market...plus you get to integrate with the Canadian community easier if you know both languages.

Anyway that's besides the point of this thread. We're hoping the next draw comes tomorrow - hopefully at a lower cut off so more people will be able to celebrate Canada Day hehe

How abt cutting it down to 447 ;-)? On a serious note, CIC should make process consistent. So that we can assess possibility of getting ITA.
