36th draw would be CRS 461 with 1500 invitations.

Let's keep up the optimism. I'd let CIC give us the hard truths later on but let's just stay optimistic especially on these rather discouraging times :)

Is there any chance of draw today?

is this your intuition or you read somewhere?
why would they be having a draw today?

I would assume as in the past they have done draws 7 days apart and as the last was on the 1st, makes sense. But if they're trying to clear a back log, I'd say they're going to leave it a little longer.

Please stop making any guesses and don't post until and unless you are sure about it. The truth is that they are going to continue with their trend of selecting 700-800 candidates in the foreseeable future.

The reason can't be the paper based application as they have to process more paper based applications then this year. Their representative who made that announcement didn't without any merit. They have reduced the quota and there were about 25000 refugees. Even if we remove the refuges from the number of economic immigrants still the cic will not be able to select that many applicants. The CIC didn't even completed last year quoata for economic immigrants.

CIC is doing whatever they like and they are not disclosing their internal policy. Nobody knows what will happen next but don't expect a miracle and score will remain same.

And yes you guessed it right I am a frustrated individual whose work permit got expired waiting for aor.

"Miracles" do happen to those who stay positive and hopeful. There's no other way than up, as the saying goes.

Dwelling on frustrations only breeds more despair and regret.

So what if the situation looks a bit gloomy at the moment? Everyone is capable of rising above that...

And with that said, don't lose hope. That CRS cut off will go down soon :)

I agree ...its better to hold on to positive ideas

If they continue to draw only 700 ITA's then PNP is the only hope.

+1 to u for positivity

hopefully it will favour International Students as the government gave its final confirmation that additional points will be awarded to University graduates at the Toronto Board.....;

I'm so happy when the no. of invitation in the draws is low as it can mean that more places will be reserved for International Students
