Hi i am 37 years of age had done b.sc, m.sc, be.ed m.ed with 15 years of experience had traveled usa 2 times already had canada visitor Visa for next 10 years, traveled east africa, dubai applied without my husband and son in cambrian college for hrm course as working principal in school yet my visa rejected twice giving reason i will not be back. Tried sds online and paper application but rejected twice. So i would say yes age matters

You have so many more advanced degrees. This degree is not likely to advance your career. If you did a PhD and found a supervisor you would have a much better chance Since that would be a logical progression.

Dear All,
I am 36 years age, got admission in UCW for MBA, 11 years of IT experience. Chances of Student Visa. Below are the details

1. I am already in the pool with 351 points, i have no hopes of getting a invitation for any province
2. got admission in UCW ( IELTS Academic: 7.5, 6, 6, 7.5)

Now what are my chances to get student visa for the above. I have all the funds and every thing ready with me .

Please suggest so that I can plan accordingly.

Thanks and Regards
Kessy
I came to Canada when I was 36 years old. I will be 38 in next few months. Completed two different programs of one year each. I have more than 10 years experience in IT industry but in finance / accounting. Chances are low but still possible if you really interested in doing MBA and it should be career progression. You need a strong statement of purpose.

Hi @andy T and @skape7

Can any one share a SOP with supporting 36 years age and 14 years study gap. I have completed my Bach. Engineering in 2004 and have IT exp of 12 years. At present i am doing my job and as well as joined in LLB in 2018 (Bachelors in Law in India in 2018, now i am in final year). I have also applied for SINP OID in Feb 2020 and i have low score 65. I lost hope and planning for Study permit. I want to do Masters in Law as this LLB degree will show continuity in recent studies. As i am following many threads regarding my chances, I concluded this is the right place to get my quire resolved. Please post an SOP so that i can modify according to my situation. share to my mail id ganeshreddydantla83@gmail.com.

Thanks in advance

Great news ! hopefully will be there as well for July 2021 intake. Still in baby stages of admission with the college. Based on your experience any tip you can share in terms of dealing with UCW & key points you highlighted in your SOP as I am also in similar age group as you. Appreciate any help in advance.

sure definately, but i need some time , please work on these things

1. Get ur SOP done
2. Try to file visa under SDS

Im very eagerly waiting for the VFS to be opened, this is so hurting many .... none are in a position to guide, after the VFS is opened we can discuss again

Hi, have you applied and got your visa ? One of my cousin got offer letter from ucw, and his profile also is little bit similar to yours(30+ age with 9years of experience). Just wanted to know regarding visa possibilities, because study gap is a big issue now days.

During corona people were saying that international students are a million dollar economy for canada so they will be lenient in giving visas, but turns out its totally opposite now. I hope you get your visa soon.

well that is indeed a fact but Canada is also stupidly rich country they can definitely afford to lose a few million dollars if in return they can better control the pandemic
