36 days for SA

I wanted to know something :

When CIC says it takes average 36 days for SA, is it from the date they received the application or from the day the began to process ?

Ours was received on March 1, and in process on March 24.

It's the date from when the CIC physically receives your application (not AOR or in process). SA can still be longer or shorter than the 36 days. It's an average.

36 days is an average based on 80% of the cases.
We are still waiting far behind 36 days now...

So, in my case, it's 36 days (average) from March 1st.

We are then a little bit late.....

Hopefully SA will come soon.

I'm taking the 36 day for SA with a pinch of salt. When looking at the recent spreadsheet entries it's still averaging 45days.

I suppose there's lot of people who aren't on the forum, so maybe there's just happen to get done quickly and brings the average down.

The average this year for AOR is 33 days, and on average another 8 days for SA.

I'll take 41 days over 60.

Took 43 days for me from when my application reached Mississauga to today when I received SA.
