Dear all,

I'm new in this forum. I've done my homework reading all this writings and tried to calculate my CRS score. So I've got 388 which I consider not enough getting invitation for ITA. However I got my IELTS certificate last month.

I write down my profile and would appreciate if one could tell me for double checking.

So,

1. Age - 25
2. Education - Masters Degree (Chemical Engineer)
3. Work experience - 3 years
4. Second lang - N/A
5. Canadian work experience- N/A
6. Never married

And also,

If I consider my internship which is 6 month then I ll have 400+ score

Mine is 422. Not sure it's ok looking at last 8 draws scores. Last draw lowest score invited was around 450+. Does anyone know if they give weightage to work experience tenure/designation?

Difficult to see the score can come down to 375 this year as people are increasingly getting wes and Ielts for the spouses and score is going up all the time.

I am at 399 and do not hope so much that score will come down at this level. But thats fine i have other options too but if score would come down then i will save my time and money both

That's a wonderful attitude! Keep it up and I'm sure you'll succeed in some or other way!

It is very easy to show this cool dude attitude when you are already getting your application processed and very difficult to sit and watch the CRS on a roller coaster ride.

And I totally agree. It is not easy to have a positive attitude when odds are against us!

I definitely feel the sympathy and I do wish everyone here good luck. But that doesn't change hard reality in front of us, that is migrating to Canada isn't easy and it isn't possible for everyone. Having a positive attitude will only help oneself, because if Canada doesn't work out, positive attitude can certainly help find some other step forward in life!

From all the draws, one clear picture that I can see is that one needs to be amongst top 1% in the EE pool to have a chance of getting an ITA. Those in top 10 to 15% would get an ITA as some point or other, and those below that are likely to find it bit difficult to get an ITA. This of course doesn't mean that I wish anyone anything bad, it's just what I think likely going to be the trend for next 12 months or so.
