I don't understand the point of Applications getting rejected when applied together. If IRCC is going to reject an application under such a clause, then why provide such an option to apply together.

To me, it looks like a myth as no one knows a definite answer.
Honestly, I've stopped looking at IRCC process logically. The entire process has so many loopholes and people exploit them left right-center. It would be so easy for them to give an option to choose if they are studying to qualify for PR. Let candidates explain the truth and then the VO can decide if the candidate has good enough points to qualify for PR. But, they choose to make applicants lie that they will return to their home country. Zero logic as for someone who decides to do fraud will do it anyway even if I say that in my SOP.

If you are applying from UAE and are a citizen of one of the third world countries, I hate to break it to you your chances are already reduced to zero especially considering you are a mature adult. There is a chance only if you are younger and are pursuing studies from a well-reputed public university and spending top dollars or have got a scholarship. Any agent claiming otherwise is lying to you. You can use the search filter with UAE for more details. You must consider applying from home country when possible. Also applying with the whole family is a red flag to them. Most people usually get their study permit and then just apply for them separately.
I am applying from India. I know the risk factors are high. But we can try right. If tried and rejected another matter. Thank you for giving your valuable response.

Let me give you some pointers that will help with your app.

1) you should be working back home-- unemployed means high chance of rejection.
2) Go to a University not a college
3) Your GPA will matter
4) Dont reapply immediately, if you, unfortunately ,get rejected. GET gcms notes first.

Family get approved especially when doing advanced degree that makes sense. If you are doing a masters or PhD almost all have their families approved.
